Plain-English summary of what KakiSport collects and why. Built for Malaysia, compliant with PDPA 2010.

1. WHO WE ARE

KakiSport is operated by Guang Yi Chung (the "Developer"), a solo developer based in Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia. Contact: info@gleapx.dev.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

To run KakiSport — match players, run pickup games, prevent flakes — we collect the following data:

Account info: your email or phone number (for sign-in), and your display name.
Profile content: profile photo, sports you play, skill level, languages, halal/women-only preferences.
Activity content: sessions you host or join, host notes, chat messages with players in the same session.
Coarse location: your city/area (e.g., "PJ", "Subang") so we can surface nearby games. We do NOT collect precise GPS.
User identifier: an internal user ID used to associate your activity with your profile.
Product interaction: which screens you open, which sessions you tap on — used for product analytics only.
Crash and performance data: anonymous diagnostics from Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix bugs.

We do not collect: precise GPS, health/fitness data, payment info, contacts, browsing history, biometrics, or any data we sell to advertisers.

3. WHY WE COLLECT IT

App functionality: sign-in, sessions, chat, host verification, anti-flake reputation.
Analytics: aggregated product usage so we know which features matter.
Safety: blocking, reporting, and emergency-contact features.

We do not use your data for cross-app tracking, advertising, or any third-party data sale.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Your data lives on two infrastructure providers:

Supabase — primary database, auth, file storage. Servers located in Singapore (ap-southeast-1).
Firebase (Google) — push notifications, crash reporting, performance monitoring.

Both providers are under strict data processing agreements. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies for marketing.

5. YOUR RIGHTS (PDPA MALAYSIA)

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or outdated data
Withdraw consent for processing (will result in account closure)
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Export your data in a portable format

In-app: Me → Privacy & Safety → Export My Data or Delete Account. Or email us at info@gleapx.dev — we respond within 7 days.

6. CHILDREN

KakiSport is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We will notify users in-app and via this page when material changes occur. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
